Dr Alexander Mudrakouski completed his training in Anaesthesia in Ireland and continued his career specialising in Chronic Pain management in 2014. He had extensive experience doing Fellowship in Chronic Pain management in St Vincent`s University Hospital in 2015 and 2016. Then he continued his career in Pain Medicine in Leeds Teaching Hospitals, UK. Where he learned the most advanced methods of Chronic Pain treatment as neuromodulation. During his Fellowship training he gained recognition of his qualification by Irish Faculty of Pain Management and World Institute of Pain (WIP). He was the first Pain Physician in Ireland who gained recognition as Interventional Pain Sonologist by (WIP). He has been working in Beaumont Hospital since early 2017 as Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Management.
Practice in Beaumont Hospital has given him excellent practice to work in collaboration with all medical and surgical specialities, particularly with neurosurgeons, spinal and orthopaedic surgeons as well as extensive experience in treatment of all types of chronic pain conditions and given excellent possibilities to practice skills in interventional methods of treatment.
Majority of chronic pain conditions are very resistant to therapeutic interventions. But he believes that multidisciplinary approach targeting individual needs, combined with innovative treatments can be very successful in number of painful conditions including: neck pain, back pain, fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal pain, head and face pain. Dr Mudrakouski can offer individual treatment plans with range of treatments and therapies to manage and treat chronic pain.
